what is the reason behind the conspiracy theory of Israel being involved in the 9/11 attacks?

I just wanted to know regarding the conspiracy theory of Israel being involved in the 9/11 attacks…for what reasons would Israel want to start a war on terror if such a theory were true?
I already don't believe it I just want to know what would Israel have to gain from it if this theory was true?

If you by Israel mean the Jewish people, I don't believe they had anything to do with it. But if you mean the powers that are controlling Israel (the owners of the large corporations of the world) then were in business, for they are sure to have been involved together with the other culprits of the ruling elite of the Western World. The Jews are once again being used as scapegoats if you ask me - which you did - to hide the truth about who the real criminals are. Now why would they (the real terrorists) want to do this (hide the truth)?
The only explanation I can come up with is that the criminals behind 9/11 are much closer to home than most people realize. They are in fact running the White House from within as we speak. The Israel conspiracy is just spin planted to divide the truthers from getting justice. We're in serious trouble here.
