McCanns, Why do conspiracy theorists always ignore the evidence that contradicts their conspiracy theory?

if they did that there would be no conspiracy, there mission is to make mountains out of mole hills and fact out of fiction.

I don't know. I really tend to wait until I have absolute facts before I make assumptions. Especially about something as serious as accusing parents of killing their child. I'm reserving my judgment until I hear solid proof, undeniable.

Its coz people are painting their own picture based mainly on speculation and on the sets of data they hear and a crystal ball I think..

Also its not up to the parents to prove a case its upto the prosecution and given the fact Portrugal is involved there could be cross boarder legal fights for much time to come before the parents have to defend themselves IF the circumstance was to ever occure.

Going to play devil's advocate here and suggest the reason they are getting fired is due to them being inadequate to carry out their jobs, namely ensuring that their officers below them did what they were supposed to do and monitor progress.

This clearly was the case as the whole thing, whether or not the McCanns are innocent or guilty of anything, was a farce from day one!

To answer the basic question, "Why do conspiracy theorists always ignore the evidence that contradicts their conspiracy theory?", that would be due to their belief that all evidence of that nature is planted by the perpetrators OF the conspiracy. It becomes a self-perpetuating circle. The more counter-conspiracy evidence you have, the stronger the belief IN the conspiracy many have.

do you know dimblond, you don't fit that title, & it's so refreshing to hear, a different tale to all the other's we have been hearing, i wish people would give the mcCanns, a chance to prove their innocence, before making judgment. Yes they made a big error, don't people think they know that, they will live with it for the rest of their lives, many would say they should, but there is a vast difference between leaving your children alone, while having a meal, than killing her, i understand peoples anger & disbelief about that but it's clouding there judgment's, let's have the fact's & real proof, if there is any, & leave them alone, till then star on way.

It doesn't really matter what anyone believes. Nobody really knows the truth except that yukky couple and their daughter. It's now for the police to collect the evidence and make a decision.

Whether you think the McCanns innocent or guilty of a crime, it doesn't matter, because the Pros and Anti's are doing exactly the same thing, only on opposite sides.

The anti-McCanns are a pathetic and guilt ridden bunch with anger issues about their low social status, their own problems with child neglect and abuse. It is the classical well-documented psychology of transferred guilt and anger. Sort of Munchhausen's Syndrome by proxy. Some may be just generally angry or disaffected people seeking to cause sensation and outrage as a strange kind of fame on here.
But I think at that at the dark heart of their agenda is a paedophile group who revel in the suffering of children and the anguish of their parents. For the sake of all here, these should be traced and brought to book not just for the insult, suffering and damage they have caused but for the potential real and present danger they threaten to children.

well you are ignoring the fact that, as far fetched as it may be, they may still be guilty. The investigation is still in progress.

It is not that unbelievable and trust me has happened before, so lets just wait and see what happens…you can't be pro or anti-mccann, just keep an open mind to all possibilities here, but yeah papers making up stories is very worrying and just shows you how much bullshit they stuff into those pages. Its been a good learning experience for me.
