Can this be a plausible conspiracy theory?

Posted by admin as conspiracy theory

Could this conspiracy theory be possible?
The media along with friends of the defense department and stock market futures traders have conspired to hurt the transportation industry, more specifically the airline industry.

The media keeps pumping bad news about flying like more delays, safety issues, and terror threat concerns.

The FAA which is comprised of many former defense department employees is bullying the airline industry into costly overly excessive examinations, kind of like a hypochondriac for airplane maintenance.

The oil prices don't make any sense as far as supply and demand are concern. Someone is manipulating the oil prices.

I do not know about anything you just said but what I do not understand is how Exxon can gross some XX Billion dollars in a single year and we are paying 3.35 a gallon price gouging if I have ever seen it

You would have to explain the motivation. The miltary/industrial complex would actually benefit from a strong airline industry (more plains being bought, more jobs for ex-military people, etc.).

And I don't agree with your assertion re: oils prices and supply/demand.

wrong on the first part, right on the second part– the oil companies have manipulated the oil prices since the 70's

Honey, the very foundation of this country, our past, current and future governments, the media, 9/11 and other catastrophic events like Pearl Harbor…it's all a mess of conspiracies, lies, and deceits that we are forced to believe is 'normal'. It's so normal, that we sent many off to die for no reason at all, and think it's okay.
The media wants to keep us terrified. Tool wrote a song about this, called Vicarious….about how we as people don't thrive on good news, but on bad news. It's something we have done to ourselves. Many people are blinded by it.

But yes, those are very plausible and realistic conspiracy theories…

Oil is def some sort of conspiracy. Majority of our oil doesnt even come from the middle east. Most comes from Canada, then Mexico, and africa, etc. Only about 16% comes from the middle east. Saudi and Iraq. So something is def goin on there. As for the airplane industry, its a long shot, but anything is possible.

The media is all owned by giant corporations like Pepsico, every single mainstream media outlet. The idea that they would conspire to hurt the people who own them doesn't make sense. The only conspiring they do is hiding just how much the ultra-rich are ripping off everyone and just how mind numbingly corrupt the USA Congress and presidency has become.

Oil prices most definitely are responding to supply and demand, the demand from Asia has been climbing steadily since 2002 and the supply is holding steady. And since there have been no major new oil discoveries of "easy" oil for decades (North Sea, Mexico, Alaska were the last) the situation is just going to get worse unless there is an amazing new oil discovery somewhere or a huge drop in demand:

In some ways we are lucky, the Asia economic meltdown of the 90s put this day off for a decade. How did America prepare for the inevitable rise in oil prices when the Asian economy took off again? We all bought gas-guzzling SUVs.

Sigh.

i do think the oil prices are being manipulated.
and if we americans honestly knew all the plots and alliances and conspiracies than most of america would be shocked.
but i don't think there is necessarily an airline conspiracy..
the safety of flying and maintenance is a big deal and no slacking on this should be allowed…..
but on other topics i do think the media goes overboard and america has this issue with wanting to know everything that don't even concern them….ex….celibrities

delays are caused by overweight airline employees with Godcomplexes.

Does not seem plausible to me. After all, the main reasons why oil prices have gone through the roof is because OPEC keeps cutting back on supplies specifically to keep prices high. Another is wars and political turmoil in major oil producing countries like Iraq, Iran, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

The probable conspirators you highlight are not in any way represented or involved either within OPEC or in the oil production in these Islamic countries, who all utterly hate the USA.

As for "manipulating the price", pump prices for gasoline in the USA are way way below those in European countries like the UK which controls oil production in the North Sea. But in the UK 90% of the price motorists pay at the pumps actually goes straight to the British government not to the oil producers. So there too the British government controls the price to gain revenue for the British economy. So your theory does not seem to me to "make sense"?
