I do believe in some government conspiracy theories because the Freedom of Information Act has shown us some of the wacky things our government has done. (Think of assasinating Castor with an exploding cigar). However, I do not believe in any of those grand theories that would involve a lot of people lying or covering up things. I think there are too many loose lips for that.

I totally believe there are HUNDREDS of government conspiracy theories. W Bush is full of them, starting with the war in iraq.

I remember first hearing about the "Illuminati" and the "New World Order" back in the 80's. Government conspiracy theories have been around for as long as we've HAD our government.

I guess I'd have to say that I don't believe ALL the conspiracies out there. I do believe that there are many things going on behind the scenes that I'm not aware of, that would shock me.

My theory has always been this: The government is either incredibly stupid and incapable of keeping real secrets, or they are very talented at misdirection. Both options are equally as scary.

The more documentaries and interviews you watch, the more all of this will seem real. To stay balanced, try watching documentaries that "debunk" some of the findings and see if it alters your thinking. It's easy to get caught up on what you're seeing. I know all too well.
